Handicap, 85 sots— Second horse 5 sots from the stakes ; two miles ; nomination 1 sot ; acceptance 2 sots, and one sot at post. 5. Selling Race, 20 sots—l mile, weight for age. the winner to become the absolute property of the Lower Valley Jockey Club, and to be sold by public auction immediately after the race. Entrance, 1 SOT 6. Natite Race Handicap, 20 sots—One mile ;|nominatioa, 1 sot ; acceptance, 10s. This race is only for horses owned at least six months previous to the day of races, trained and to be ridden by aboriginal Natives. 7. RULES AND REGULATIONS. The saddling bell willring at 11.30 a.m., the first race start at 12 noon sharp. Each Race will start punctually at the time appearing in the correct cards of the races. The fiat races to he run under the L.T.J.C. Rules, The Steeplechase under the N.Z.G.N.S.C. Rules. No scratching of horsesatlowed except through the Secretary, and uot later than 30 minutes before the time of starting. All entries and nominations to bo made in writing, sealed and addressed to the Secretary, entrance money to be enclosed with color, sex, name, age and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner and colors of the rider. In case of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary, in writing, within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of two guineas, such deposit to be forfeited if the pretest is not sustained. No entry will be received for any of the races, except upon the conditions, that all claims disputes and objections arising out of the races shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upnnall points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. Nominations for Flying Steeplechase, L.V.J.C., Native Race and Martinborougb Handicaps, close with the Secretary, at Martinborough on Thursday. November 10th, at II p.m. Weights declared for Flying Steeplechase, L.V.J.C., and Native Race Handicaps, on Saturday, December sth, at 7 p.m. Acceptances for the same on Thursday, December 17th, at 11 p.m., at which time the entries for the Selling Race close with the Secretary at Martinborough.

Weights for the Martinborough Handicap to b© declared on the course after the Native Race is over. Acceptances for the same to be made 30 minutes before the race takes place. Final payments for the X.T.J.C., and Steeplechase Handicaps to be made on the course an hour before appointed time of starting for those events, Xo entry, nomination, acceptance, or final payments Trill be accepted after the appointed timeunder any pretence whatever.
