WAIRARAPA and east coast AGRICULTURAL SHOW, CARTERTON, NOVEMBER 4, /'AN WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, Trains for conveyance of Exhibits will leave Cross’ Creek at 5.30 a.m., and Masterton 6 a.m., arriving Carterton 6.10 and 6.90 a m, returning to above stations at 6.30 p.m-, or as soon as convenient to remove exhibits. A limited number of passengers can be conveyed by these trains. Exhibitors paying carriag® to Carterton will have exhibits, if unsold, returned free of charge. In addition to ordinary time table, extra trains will be run between Masterton and Carterton. Saturday Return Tickets will be issu d from Featherston, Greytown, Masterton and all intermediate stations to Carterton, available for return journey on day of issue. H. UDY, JUN., 175 Mayor. THE GRAND ANNUAL SHOW, Under the Auspices and Direction of tic WAIRARAPA AND EAST COAST PASTORAL AND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY. Will be held on the SOCIETY’S SHOW GROUNDS, AT CARTERTON ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1885. THE Showwillinclude Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Tigs, Implements, Farm and Dairy Produce, Vehicles and Industrial Exhibits. The Society will as iu previous years, offer about forty gold and silver medals, as well as cash prizes, in each of the above stated sections of exhibits, and in addition hereto a large number of valuable special prizes in cash and in plate have been promised, bringing the total amount of all prizes fully up to the average of the last three years. Programmes and Prize Lists giving full information as to conditions of entry, regulations for judging, and all other details are now being prepared and will be published and circulated shortly. Arrangements will be made to run special trains at reduced rates, also to have the Show I)ay proclaimed a Bank and General Holiday throughout the Valley. Intending Exhibitors are informed that entries closed on SATURDAY, the 24th day of October, 1885. For the purpose of affording more adequate encouragement to certain classes of exhibits such as Dogs, Poultry, Pigeons, Produce, Industries, Flowers, kc. t kc., the Society has decided to hold a separate Show for these classes during the early part of December, and full particulars hereof will be published. A Leaping Match, a Shearing Match, and a trial of Sheep Dogs, will take place on the Grounds during the afternoon.

All communications in reference to the Show addressed to the Secretary at Carterton by letter or telegram will be promptly attended to.
