The Split in the Cabinet.
A humour was current in Wellington yesterday that a serious difference existed in the Cabinet on the subject of the East and West Coast Railway vote. Sir Julius Vogel and Mr Richardson being said to be opposed to their colleagues on this question, and desirous of making it a Ministerial one. It was also rumoured that internal dissensions in the Cabinet might possibly result in the resignation of the Premier. We give these rumors simply for what they may be worth.
