7SJ OTICE is hereby given that under the provisions of “ The Hoads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882,” and its Amendments, the Council of the County of Wairarapa West intends to erect a bridge across the Wainuioru River on the Flat Point Road in the Gladstone Riding at an estimated cost of £1493. The yearly payments required to be made to the Government in respect of a giant for the aforesaid sum of £1493, are £37 Ca Cd each year for ten years, and the amount of the Special Rate over the Wainuioru Bridge Special Rating District to yield said yearly payments, is an annually recurring rate of three seventeenths of a penny in the £• The Rato Roll of the said Special Rating District, plans, specifications, and detailed estimates of the proposed work, may be inspected at the County Offices, Carterton, during ordinary business hours, and a poll of the Ratepayers of the said Special Rating District will be taken at Mr James Cooper’s homestead, Taipos, Wainuioru, on THURSDAY, the 10th day of SEPTEMBER, 1885, between the hours of 9 a.in. and 6 p.m., for the purpose of determining whether or not the above proposal shall ha adopted.
