Excursion Trains for the Exhibition.
Many country settlers intend to visit the Industrial Exhibition to be opened at Wellington on the Ist August. We notice that the railway authorities have advertised a cheap excursion from the Wairarapa stations to Wellington on Saturday, the opening day of the Exhibition. Day return tickets will be issued at the Masterton, Carterton, Greytown, Featherston and Kaitoke stations, at very cheap fares on Ist August, available by excursion train only to Wellington, and for return either by ordinary afternoon train, delayed till 530 p.m., or by Excursion Train leaving at 10.30 p-m, The train to Wellington will leave Masterton at 9 a.m., and Carterton, Greytown and Featherston at 9.30, 9 50, and 30.10 respectively. The return train leaves Wellington at 10 30. On Friday and Saturday, 31st July and Ist August, extended time excursion tickets will be issued, available for return by any train up to Saturday.
