Greytown Borough Council
This Council met at the B -rough Chambers on Monday night last, for the special purpose of receiving tenders for certain work on several roads. Present—U. Udy, dun., Esq, (Mayor), Crs Loasby, St. George, Gallagher, and Cameron. Kt KITIWIIITI IiOAII. Tenders for metalling, Ac.—C. Morris, l.da lid per chain (accepted) ; G, Phillips, Pds ; 11. Morris, 25a; Wiggins, 20s. (IKKAT J-'JIEDEKK'K STREET, Tenders for metalling—G. Phillips, 25s per chain (accepted) ; G. Morris, 2lts lUd ; Wiggins, 28a ; Humphries, 28s ltd. I’A IMU'AI ItOAP. Tenders—W.T. Humphries, 42s‘dd per chain ; S. Garrify, .‘l2s OP It was resolved, on the motion of Gr Gallagher, seconded by Cr Cameron, that the|metallingof Papawai road be Held over for the present. The meeting then adjourned.
