ENGLAND AND RUSSIA.
OFFICERS RETURNING TO INDIA. RUSSIA AND TURKEY. ENGLISH TROOPS FOR INDIA. London, March 25. In consequence of war being considered imminent, the officers who have been absent on furlough, are now hastening their return to India. Russia is bidding for au alliance with Turkey. Calcutta, March 2<>. It is announced that Sir Frederick Roberts, with the force of 25,00j men now being mobilised will proceed without delay to occupy the Bolan Pass. Troops to the number of 15,000 will be dialled [rum England in India, in order to supply tiie place <>l ihe force despatched to the southern Afghan trontu-r.
