WAIKATO MARKETS. HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report: Sheep: At Frankton sale on Tuesday both wethers and ewes came forward ir; smaller numbers than usual. Competition was keen for both classes with export buyers also in the marke ! Prices showed a hardening tendeeny. LamSbs were yarded in larger numbers, and sold at equal to schedu’e rates. Store sheep: A small yarding, which sold at full late rates; 4 and G tooth wethers 20s 4d, 2 tooth wethers 20s 4d, woolly forward conditioned ewes 13s. Fat cattle: An average yarding, which met with a good demand at full late rates. Prime bullocks made £8 to £9 7s Gd, light and medium quality £7 5s to £8 2s 6d, fat cows and heifers, fair quality £2 5s to £3 12s 6d, vealers 15s to 345, small 10s to 14s.

Fat pigs': There was a large yarding of baconers and porkers, which sold readily and on a par with last week's quotations. We quote: Prime baconers £3 5s to £3 11s, heavy £3 to £2 ss, medium £2 12s to £2 18s, light baconers and heavy porkers £2 2s to £2 10s, medium porkers 35s to £2, light 30s to 345, choppers £2 18s to £3 O • Store pigs: Only a light yarding of store and weaner pigs, which resulted in a keen sale.
