The cycle road race on Wednesday afternoon, under the auspices of the Te Awamutu Amateur Athletic Club, was over a course of approximately 61 miles, and the winner proved to be W. D'alziel, off lmin 25secs, who completed the course is 21min 55secs under adverse weather conditions. G. Allen, off 2min lOsecs, was second in 22min 17secs, and Robinson, off 3min 25secs=, third in 22min 18secs. The fourth rider was G. Lee, off 2min, and his time was 21min 55secs. Several of the others did not complete the course.
