DOZENS OF SNAKES
Windsor would have been a had place for chronic alcoholics a few days ago (says the Sydney Run). Ploughmen unearthed dozens of snakes. Mr J. Colless, a local farmer, was ploughing, when he found three snakes, one of which was a black snake with 23 young. Mr Colless has an uneasy feeling that the other two were the slightly elder members of another litter, and a simple multiplication ,sum would indicate that the reptile family is still strongly represented in the district. "We talk about rabbits breeding," said Mr Colless. "but I don't think they know anything about family life', compared with snakes."
