The queen carnival organised by the Anglican Church at Te Kuiti was brought to a successful conclusion on Saturday, the winning queen being Miss Grace Harris, representing the Civil Service, with a total of 19,013 votes. The total amount realised by the carnival was £250. The parish is one of the most heavily-mdebted in the Waikato Diocese.
