BUTTER PRICES RISING
LONDON M/ARKET FIRM AT 78/.-

AUCKLAND, This Da s , New Zealand butter is now selling on the London market at 77s to 78s per cwt, a rise of Is on the previous day. The market is firm. Over the past week New Zealand prices have advanced by 2s per cwt. Pi-ices for Australian show a rise of Is to 755, and Danish has advanced by Is 6d to 86s 6d. Cheese values also show improvement and the market is steady. New Zealand white is quoted at 455, and coloured at 44s 6d, a rise of from 6d to Is per cwt during the week.
The Press Association message sent from London on Thursday states the butter market is firm. Danish :s quoted at 86s to 87s, choicest salted New Zealand 77s to 78s, Australian 755, unsalted the same. The cheese mai-ket is steady. New Zealand white is quoted at 455, coloured 44s 6d, Australian, none offering.
