BETTER THE PLACE
An Englishman while on a walking tour in Scotland decided to take the opportunity of scaling Ben Nevis. He set out with a Highland guide, and toiled upwards with dogged persistence until he reached the summit. The tourist stood and gazed at the superb view, then turned suddenly with an expression of chagrin on his face to his companion, and exclaimed: “ Great Scot, what a fool I am to have forgotten the glasses! ” “ Och, mon,” said the guide, “ that doesn’t a’ matter. There’s nobody here tae see us drinkin oot the bottle.”
