The closing meeting for the session was held in the Presbyterian Hall on Thursday last, when the Rev. A. C. Whitelaw gave an interesting address on the "Origin and Progress of the Temperance Movement." Mrs H. M. Andrew sang "Whatever Is, Is Best," and Miss Mcintosh, of Mangapiko, was the accompanist.
