SENTENCED FOR THEFT
ART UNION TICKET STOLEN. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Monday. In the Magistrate's Court. to-day Basil Hodgson was sentenced by Mr W. Meldrum, S.M., to two years' reformative treatment for the theft of articles, including an art union prize ticket, from Margaret Ann Stopforth at Hokitika. The police stated that accused had a bad record.
