STOCK PRICES. vThe New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report on their Hrongia stock sale held on Wednesday as follows: There was an average entry consisting of mostly fat and store cattle. Competition was steady, late rates being fully maintained. Fat cows made from £2! 10s to £ 3s, lighter do £2 to £2 10s, light do £1 15s to £2, killable £1 9s to £1 14s, stores 16s to £1 sd, boners 10s New Zealand Loan and Mercairi’ tile Agency Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report having held a clearing sale on Wednesday on Mr H. B. Haddow’s farm at Pukemiro. From a fair attendance of buyers, bidding on the several lines of sheep was spirited and a complete clearance was effected at very satisfactory prices. About 75 cattle of various kinds met with a flair demand. 247 2 tooth ewes made 9s Id, 144 4 tooth 10s 4d, 220 6 tooth ewes 9s 4d, 203 4 year ewes 7s 7d, 240 ewe hoggets 5s Bd, dairy cows close to profit £4 to £6 10s, others £3 to £4.
