It was stated at Wednesday's meeting of the Waipa County Council, that two country ratepayers had applied for motor driving licenses, and as both suffer physical disabilities the responsibility of issuing the licenses was thrust on the council. It was decided to grant the licenses, provided an indemnity against claims for damage is given' to protect the council.
