Sir.—Many of your readers would be glad if you cou'd enlighten them as to conditions in Sweden before she changed her monetary system to a price index basis. This will give them an idea as to how many business men and farmers are to be made bankrupt, how many more workers ai - e to be unemployed and how many more homes wrecked, before, in your opinion, conditions in this country will be bad enough to warrant the adoption of a monetary system which will permit the utilisation of the natural resources, which have been so abundantly provided by Providence.—l am, etc, .
