TINAL SCREENING TO-NIGHT. , "FRANKENSTEIN." Attendances at the Regent on Saturday and Monday were large, and also very appreciative of the marvellous production, " Frankenstein," the principal offering, which is to have its final screening locally to-night. It is nerve-racking in some respects, but the chief effect on audiences appears to be its absolutely unique style and clever photography. The effects intended by the producer have been achieved by master photographers, and altogether.it is a picture that will be talked about for many a day. Dr Frankenstein's scientifically-controlled monster quite thrilled the audiences in Te Awamutu, just as it did in the cities.

Nancy Carroll, the star of the | production, has the rtole of Nora, a • personal maid. Terry Carroll, Nancy's sister, is seen in the role of Nora's sister Anna, in the picture. This is "the first time that the Carroll sisters have played the parts of sisters in a filjm, although they have been seen to- ■ gether on the screen before, and frequently on the stage.
