BLACK DUCK EGG. An egg which was laid by a fawn duck, owned by Mr A. D. Hathaway, Te Kapua, Mangaweka, recently. Super-imposed on the ordinary white shell is a natural coating of deep blackish brown substance. The egg has been forwarded to the Dominion Museum.
