FREIGHT BY RAIL
SPECIALISATION IN SAFETY. In all operations the railway freight service is practically a specialisation in safety. Modern equipment, efficiently used, in loading or unloading, packing, or storing of fragile goods, has virtually banished the breakage bogey. Perishable goods have a quick run in special wagons. Pianos and furniture are sheltered in box wagons which are a safeguard against sweating and other dampness. Meat and dairy produce are carried in insulated wagons which prevent deterioration. Whatever may be the goods, hard or soft, light or heavy, the Railway Dp-., partment will give them the JasjeSjl treatment all the way. .jffißEgßSa
