PETROL FROM RUSSIA
NO TRADE RESTRICTIONS. (By Telegraph. Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. “ No restrictions are in existence to prevent trade between New Zealand and Russia and there is nothing to stop tl\e importation of Russian petrol to New Zealand,” said the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes,, to-day. He added that there was no special embargo on Russian goods and the question had not been raised. At present, Mr Forbes remarked, there was vey little trade being carried on between Russia and New Zealand.
