RESEMBLANCES
STARS’ DOUBLES FOUND IN CHORUS. Seven of the 124 First NationalVitaphone chorus girls who will soon be seen and heard in “Paris,” starring Irene Bordoni, are said to bear such striking likenesses to famous film stars that they could be used as doubles if doubling hadn’t gone out of fashion in Hollywood. Margaret Lee might be Irene Rich’s twin sister. Irene Calkins looks just like Billie Dove. Josephine Burnhardt is like Beatrice Lille. Ruth Metzer resembles Mary Astor. Diane Warfield is a ringer for Esther Ralston. Constance Pittner could easily impersonate Corinne Griffith. Geraldine Devorak has been mistaken several times at the Montmartre for Greta Garbo!
