WIFE WHO TOOK POISON

THOUGHT HUSBAND HAD DONE SO TOO. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. When a Wiri resident bluffed his young wife this morning that he had taken poison.she obtained possession of the bottle and drank half the contents.

Her husband had threatened to take a dose of poison himself, and on going to the front of the house he told his wife that he had taken it. She immediately gained possession of the bottle and swallowed half the contents.

Dr Jameson, of Papatoetoe, was called in and administered an antidote. After the patient rallied she was taken to the Auckland Hospital.
