GIFT AFTERNOON. (Own Correspondent.) Mrs Norton entertained a number of friends at a gift afternoon on Friday last, when a varied assortment ol useful articles was donated towards a stall at the forthcoming Anglican Church bazaar, -which is to be held in early December. _ The progressive bridge tournament next Wednesday, night will celebrate the wind-up of the card evenings conducted during the winter in aid of the Anglican Church funds. The moving picture, Tail It to the Marines,” was screened to a large and appreciative audience here last Friday night. T|his is the first picture entertainment to* be held at Paterangi this year, which no doubt accounts for tho full house.
