Sir, —Mr R. W. Simson, in his endeavour to champion Mr W. Goodfellow and belittle anybody who may differ with that gentleman, indicates 'chat he (Mr Simson) has £5, and apparently he is willing to donate it to the Waikato Hospital. He implied that a certain gentleman well-versed in dairying matters was writing under the nom-de-plume of District Correspondent.” 1 Now, I hake to think that that £5 will not be donated and I authorise you to give Mr Simson my name if he will give you the £5 as a donation to the Waikat|o Hospital. It will surely 'help to lessen our 'hospital rallas and at the same time enable Mr Simson to renoH back to his chief that, after all, his~ effort to emulate Sherlock Holmes was a failure, and the “suspect” is entirely innocent.—l am etc., DISTRICT CORRESPONDENT.
