• WAIKATO STOCK MARKET. SALE OF PEDIGREE PIGS, 'r tto The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company reports: We held the third annual sale of pedigree pigs on account of Mr F. Discombe, Lucernedale stud, near Cambridge, on Wednesday, when there was a good attendance, buyers being present from all parts of the Auckland province. Prices were lower than those ruling last year, which doubtless may be accounted for by the present weak demand for young store pigs. The highest figure, 20 guineas, was obtained for a Large White sow, in farrow, which was purchased by Mr Fountain, of Whakatane. We quote: Berkshire boars 6 months old s'to Tk guineas, Berkshire sows 7 to 9 guineas, weaner ditto 3 to 4 guineas, Tamworth boars 3 months old 3 to 6 guineas, same-age sows 5i to 9 guineas, weaner Tamworth boars 2 guineas, sows 3 to 4 guineas, Large White sows 6 months old (empty) to 13 guineas, young sow in farrow 20 guineas, Large Black weaner sows 2| guineas, boars 21 to 3 guineas.
