DANGEROUS DRIVING
MOTOR CAR STRIKES GIG

As an outcome of a collision between a motor car driven by Patrick Mc-j Mahon, and a gig occupied by Alfred John Elmore and his wife, which occurred on Norton road, Frankton, on the evening of March 17, McMahon was charged in the Hamilton Magistrate’s Court to-day with dangeroufe drivin" Defendant did not appear”. Evidence was given by. Elmore and his wife that when returning from the Ngaruawahia regatta in a gig they saw defendant’s motor car approach. It was being driven in an erratic manner on the wrong side of the road. The gig was drawn well over to the correct side, but the car ran into it, throwing the occupants out and damaging the Defendant was convicted and fined £5 and.his license was endorsed.
