GALES IN THE TASMAN. WELLINGTON, Friday. After an exceptionally rough voyage from Newcastle the collier Iron Crown arrived at Wellington at 11.20 p.m. yesterday with 5360 tons of coal. From the time she left Newcastle southerly gales and heavy seas were encountered.' and at one stage th'e ship was hove-to for 28 hours.
