BIBLE CLASS RALLY. (Own Correspondent.) The annual camp of the Presbyterian Girls' Bible Class was held at Rotorua during Easter. About 250 girls assembled from.all parts of the Auckland province, several from Paterangi among the number, and they report having had a most wonderful time. The public school buildings ewer taxed to the utmost to provide accommodation, while the cooking arrangements at the technical school were utilised to the full. Bible study circles and discussions on important subjects were conducted daily, and proved very interesting. Addresses were delivered daily; the principal speakers were Mrs Morgan, of Hamilton (camp mother), Miss Perkins, of Cambridge (Dominion secretary), Sister Dorothy, and leaders of the several circles. An impromptu concert was held in the church hall on the night of Saturday, 7th instant, at which the public were made welcome, an excellent programme being rendered entirely .by Bible Class members. The very highly of the generosity of the Rotorua people, many of whom placed cars and buses at their disposal for a trip to the green and blue lakes, and of the moving picture proprietors for their invitation to the entire camp to witness the screening of "Ben liur" free of charge. The beautiful weather that prevailed during the camp added to the general enjoyment of the gathering. It is thought that the next Easter camp will be Held at Morrinsville. The- ordination of the Rev. D. C. Stewart and his induction to the Paterangi charge took place in the Presbyterian Church last Friday night. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. W. Butterworth, moderator for the Waikato. The Rev. Mr Starnes, of Morrinsville, addressed the minister, and the Rev. Mr Rogers, of Frankton, addressed the congregation. The sermon was delivered by the Rev. .Mr Ross, of Te Kuiti. The local speakers who extended a welcome to Mr and Mrs Stewart on behalf of the several districts under the care of the Paterangi charge were Messrs W.G. Maeky (Paterangi), J. J. Ryburn (Ngahinapouri), J. Williamson (Ohaupo), Arthur (Te Rore), and Mr S. C. B. Macky as representative of local bodies. Mr Stewart responded, expressing the appreciation of Mrs Stewart and himself for the hearty welcome extended to them. Supper was then partaken of, and during a social half hour the members of the congregation were given the opportunity of making the acquaintance of Mr and Mrs Stewart.
