FIRE AT FRANKTON
RAILWAY EMPLOYEES’ HALL. HAMILTON, Friday. A fire broke out in the kitchen of the Frankton railway employees’ social hair in Rifle Range Road, Frankton, at 11 o’clock this evening. The efforts of a local fire-fighting corps were supplemented by the Hamilton Fire Brigade. The flames were confined to the kitchen, which was considerably damaged. The hall is a new structure and was opened by the Prime Minister about a year ago.
