WESTERN AUSTRALIAN BROTHERS. Two famous Australian twins celebrated Chair 83rd birthday recently at Busselton Western Australia. Thefy are IN’athanie'l anil John Abbey, wh-o were barn at Busselton and have lived there all their lives. In every respect Itfiijsly are alike, -and throughout their lives- have steadfastly rented to adopt distinctive features. -On ’many occasions friends, to enable a distinction to he made, nave suggested that one twin should wear a be'arU and Ithe other a mousracne. But the Abbeys have remained unchanged through the years, and are so alike in build and features that even now i)t is wblll-iiigh impossible to distinguish pne from .'the other. Soon after they were horn the nurse removed the distinguishing ribbons from their necks, and to this Gay no one has- discovered which is Nathaniel and which is John. They wear similar clothes a*nd ties, while their watch chains -and rings are alike. Old residents .relate twitli amusement flow, When, "the Abbeys were young men. 'their favourite belles were never -sure whether John was keeping Nathaniel's appointment, or vice versa. Alike as two peas m a pod, they have never been separated, and they declare -that they will die at the same moment.
