Fifeen £ho)ajsand trout eggs, shipped all the way from New Zealand, arrived in Southampton a few weeks ago, and were forwarded by fjrain to Scotland for the rivers near Stirling. , 'Tide l eggs arle from unusually big fish, which average 40 to 50 lbe weight, ■grown .by special experimental work. During the ’mg ocean voyage the eggs uvere klript nit, a low temperature by sprinkling ice water on them, and all but fifty arrived in good condition. 'Some fear j :S reported that the anglers will enlarge their yarns in proportion to the increaaladi size of Ithe fish from the imported lNleiw Zealand eggs.
