In the Hamilton High School annual steeplechase, run over a course of 21 miles, a pupil from Te Awamutu, Master R. S. Sinclair, gained third place in a field of no less than 140 starters. The two lads who beat him, J. Innes and W. Prosser, lowered the. school record for this annual event.
