If he can't toite Ihis way Ithrough the wire at the top, he chtews through the tin at thfe 'bottom, and emerges happily \b stai'k contemptuously around the ether .birds. '.Hl.'sj bealt is peculiarly poinjted'and is as sharp as a razor, utterly belying the rest of his innocent appearance, whicJ'it is composed of delicate shelllpink feathers, and *two little salmonpink ears. William has just heleli placed in his 19th cage, (specially structed to resist his attacks, and built of 'fine sUsiel shavings. "You're a bad foird, William; isee lif yo|u; can find a way out of that cage," said thte keeper. "Oh, go on," chortiled William, in reply, with a tolink of his, little bright eyes, and a knowing "cock" of his head. "And doutotfes William will," said the keeper; "but thte cage will keep Ihflm tousy longer than the others have, anyway."
