OLD STONE CIST
DISCOVERY AT BERWICK. An oi>.l stone cist, wth no markngs •on it, was discovered recently by workmen excavating for fchfe drains of a house being built in Castle Terrace Berwiickt at a diipth of aboAi't two feet.
Inside was a human skeleton, the teeth of which were longer than those of! people of to-day, and in a good state of preservation.
