SUMMER TIME BILL
A SELECT COMMITTEE SET UP. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The .Summer Time Bill, which was passed by the House of Representatives recently, wafe read a .second time pro forma in the Legislative Coun dl to-day, and was referred, to a select committee consisting of the Hons. W. Earnshaw, J. MacGregor, W. H. Mclntyre, G. J. Garland, E. Newman, R. Moore, R. iScott, V. H. Reed, J. Barr, and Sir. W. 'Hall-Jones. The Hon. J. Barr, who moved the •second reading, intimated that a section of the people who objected to the ißill desired to give evidence upon it.
