OTICE is hereby given that the Te Awamutu Borough 'Council in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred und,er Sections 77 to 98 of The Municipal 'Corporations Act, 1920, and Amendments, The 'Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, and Sections 51 to 59 of The Rating Act, 1925, and all other powers enabling intends at a regular meeting to be held at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, the 2nd day of August, 1926, to make, levy and collect for the period commencing the Ist day of April, 1926, and ending the 31st day of March, 1927, a Consolidated! Rate of 3d and! 13-60th of a penny in the £ upon the Capital Value of all rateable property as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force for the Borough of Te Awamutu in lieu of the following:— upon the 'Capital Value of all rateable property as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force for the Borough of Te Awamutu in lieu of the following:— I—A General Rate of 11-12 din the £. A Special Rate Te Awamutu Borough Sewerage Loan. 3-16 d in the £. A Special Rate Te Awamutu Borough Streets Loan, 1924, 11-16 d in the £. A Special Rate Te Awamutu Borough Antecedent Liability Loan. 3-32 d in the £. A Special Rate No. 1 Te Awamutu Streets Loan, «d in the £. A Special Rate No. 2 Te Awamutu Streets Loan, id in the £. A Special Rate No. 1 Alexandra Street Loan, Jd in the £. A Special Rate Te Awamutu Fire Brigade Loan, l-20d in the £. A Separate Rate Waikato Hospital Board Levy, 3-16 d in the £. A Separate Rate Te Awamutu Borough Streets Lighting, 3-32 d in the £. 2—A Special Rate of l-16d in the £Te Awamutu Streets Allocation Loan. 3—'Water Supply Rates: Upon all lands and buildings to which :..... .water, is 'supplied other than..by meter, where the annual value does not exceed £l2 10s, a Rate of 10s. Where such annual value exceeds £l2 10s a Rate of 2 per cent, on such value, upon all lands and buildings to which water can be but is not supplied situate within one hundred yards from any part of the water works a Rate not exceeding one-half of the above-mentioned Ordinary Consumers' Rate. Upon all buildings used as stores or warehouses or for any other purpose other than as dwelling houses • a Rate . not exceeding one-half of the Ordinary Consumers' Rate. The said Rates to become due and payable in one sum on the Ist day of September, 1926, to the Collector (Dudley Bockett) at the Council . Offices, Town Hall, Te Awamutu. The Estimates upon which the above mentioned Rates are based having been approved by ithe Council are, together with the Valuation Roll and Rate Book, open for inspection without fee at the 'Council Chambers, Town Hall, Te Awamutu, during office hours.
