WALKING MAN MISSING
CAP FOUND IN STREAM

WAIHI, Monday,
The cap of a missing man, Edtvard Alfred Scholz. a blacksmith, employed bv the Waihi Goldmining Company at Waikino, lm 3 been found in the stream some chains below the swing bridge on the Waitekauri Road,.
Scholz disappeared from his lodging on May 21st, and search parties have since failed to find any trace of him. He was last seen standing on the swing bridge, since which time the stream has been in flood.
