Consider how it concerns not only an essential and very large part of the food supply, but that from the aesthetic standpoint it is pre-eminent. The gardener, both professional and amateur, is indispensible to our well-being. Nothing is clearer than the fact that the best horticultural education procurable should be provided for those proposing to take up horticulture as a study.
