Chassis frame is 11 inches lower, without interference with clearance under axle. Transmission brake drum bands increased from 11 to 13 inches wide, making softer braking action and longer life. Transmission bands can be removed for re-lining without removing the transmission cover. 'Fenders improved crown type, longer and lower at front and rear. Lamps bolted to fenders higher, wider, and more rigid. Coil box on left side of motor. Fan bracket eccentric, making adjustment easier.
