TELEPHONE CHARGES
NO REDUCTION LIKELY. (By Telegraph. Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The local Chamber of Commerce is urging a reduction of telephone fees, but the Department does not hold out any immediate hope of alteration. The principal reason is heavy capital costs for extensions and for automatic installations.
