MOTOR JOY - RIDERS
‘ NEARLY KILL A MAN. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. Three young men, charged with converting a doctor’s motor car to their own use to go joy-riding, were each sentenced to-day to three months in gaol. It was shown that they collided with a horse, which had to be destroyed, smashed a verandah post, and nearly killed a man. The damage to the car amounted to £35. The driver received an additional three months” imprisonment for dangerous driving.
