ESCAPE FROM BURNING
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. A ten-roomed boarding house in Nugget Bay, owned by Mr J. H ! . Mennell, was destroyed by fire on Wednesday night. Two children were rescued in their night clothes with difficulty. Mr Mennell acted as postmaster, and the telephone apparatus was destroyed. The house was insured for £650 in the State Office. The furniture was not insured.
