THE RADIO CLUB.
WELLINGTON CONCERT PLAINLY HEARD HERE. A meeting of the Te Awamutu Radio Club was held on Monday evening, when there was a good attendance of members. After routine business, during which suggestions were received for ways and means of raising money, which suggestions will be discussed at next meeting, members tried out the new wireless set, with the result that a Wellington radio concert was heard quite distinctly The new set will, of course, be a great incentive to members to attend regularly. It is hoped that a meeting of honorary members will be arranged soon when a balance-sheet will be presented and re-election of officers will take place .All members are urged to attend the next meeting to discuss several important. things re the club’s progress Mr T. Spear was thanked for his kind offer of some electrical magazines.
