RAILWAY SERVANTS.
WANT A WALKS BOARD. WITH INDEPENDENT CHAIRMAN. fßy Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Parliament will be asked hv the Railway Servants' Society to constitute a board composed 'if representatives of the men and \ department, with an outside chairman, to adjudicate in matters of dispute between the men and the management; There is stated to be dissatisfaction in the service over the matter of settling disputes, and the men want a board similar to the wages boards which acted at the time of the strike in 1920. and again in the following year. These boards, the men consider, did good work, and a similar appointment, if is said, will remove discontent.
