STOCK SALE AT FRANIvTON. At Frank-ton yards on Tuesday the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company again had a small oiiry of fat sheep. Wethers sold up to 325, shorn store lambs 15s Gd; breeding ewes of good class were in slightly better demand. 2-tooth to full-mounth reaching 30s. A fair yarding of beef of secondary quality sold at improved values, fat cows making £4 5s to £4 17s Gd, undished cows £3 12s to £4, fresli to forward cows £2 15s to £3 2s, dairy cows £5 5s to £7. A good yarding of both fat and store pigs came forward; both classes sold under good competition, heavy baconers realising £3 15s to £4 2s. medium baconers £3 5s to £3 12s, light baconers £2 17s to £3 3s, good porkers £2 7s to £2 12s, light, porkers £2 to £2 ss. stores £1 10s to £1 16s, good slips £1 3s to £1 7s. others ISs to £l, weaners 9s to 16s.
