NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with Sections 48 to 55 of tihe Rating Act, 1908, and its amendments, and Sections 31 to 33 of the .Land Drainage Act, 1908, and its amendments, that it is the intention of the Kawa Drainage Board, at its next meeting, to be held on TUESDAY, tihe 7th day of November, 1922, to make and levy a general rate of l£d (one and one-eighth of a penny) in the £ on the ratable values of lands classed as Class A and id (three farthings) in the £ on the ratable value of lands classed as Class B and Id (threeeighths of a penny) in the £ on the ratable value of lands classed as Class IC, for the period commencing on the first day- of April, 1922, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1923; such rate to be due and payable in one sum at the office of the Clerk, Alexandra Street, Te Awamutu, on the 30th day of November, 1922.
