CHEAPER BREAD.
ANNOUNCEMENT FROM WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. One big automatic baking company announces a reduction, beginning today, in the price of bread. Its prices now are 6|d per two pound loaf delivered, 51d over the counter, 5d wholesale for retailing at s£d. The Master Bakers' Association announces that it will meet any reduction. The prices obtaining in Te Awamutu are 6Jd per two pound loaf over the counter.
