RICH COAL SEAM.
DISCOVERED NEAR GREYMOUTH

GREYMOUTH, This Day
A further bore in the Dobson Coal Company’s field, five miles from Greymouth. has revealed a seam of 11 feet 6 inches of bituminous coal. The depth is 750 feet, confirming the results of previous boring at three other points. Roughly, 30 acres of coal have been proved and estimated to contain one million tons.
